While consulting for multiple business unitis within organisations I also design workshops, literally. This workshop is created to illustrate the little islands behaviour within the organisation and how to cope with the complexity of ownership, stakeholders and collaborations. I called it ‘Little islands’.
The workshop is quite easy in structure and meant to facilitate discusion, create a common understanding and also to bring people accross multiple business units together. In a nutshell people are tasked to map out the various islands and the people on said islands. Then people should think about how to create meaningful connections between islands.
